Would you risk losing your job so you could go to Electric Picnic? This girl did

Now this is dedication.

Earlier today, Emily from Limerick posted this screen grab of an email from her employer's accountant saying her P45 was in the post to the Electric Picnic Facebook page. Emily claims that her dismissal came after her boss issued her an ultimatum over attending festival this weekend, saying:

"If you cared about your job, you'd sell your electric picnic ticket"

The post has taken off on Facebook with over 6,800 likes and hundreds of comments, many praising her and others expressing disbelief.

Electric Picnic takes place this weekend in Stradbally in Laois and will see thousands of people arriving to soak up the music, food, spoken word and art.

And now Emily will definitely be there too.
