Weatherman knees college student in the groin live on air

Let this be a lesson to all, do not rush a weatherman when he's in the middle of his forecast.

You're liable to get a knee in the privates.

Well-known US TV weatherman Jim Cantore, from The Weather Channel, carried out the ninja-style move while trying to tell viewers about Storm Leon.

As he was delivering his update from Charleston in South Carolina on the winter storm, which has brought freezing conditions to the US, he had to fend off a foolhardy youth.

The cool meteorologist, 49, was determined to not let the screaming college student rain on his parade.

Jim then observed: "Obviously here at the college at Charleston they're already having a good time."
