Much like ourselves, this poor sheep is in desperate need of a haircut.
Shaun the sheep was found wandering around the Midlands region of Tasmania by farmer Peter Hazell who said he had no trouble catching the merino ram as the wool was quite literally pulled over his eyes.
"He couldn't see very well because of the wool over his face, so I snuck up behind him and grabbed ahold of him," he told ABC.
Peter's wife, Netty, said that they estimated that Shaun was carrying around 20 kilograms of wool.
"It is the heaviest sheep I've ever lifted," she admitted.
"I just couldn't believe it, I just could not believe a sheep could have so much wool."
The couple plan to shear Shaun and weigh the wool to see if they can break the world record for fleece-yield. And, apparently, it's surprisingly good-quality wool.
"There's three or four good jumpers in there," said Netty.
And you can't beat a good jumper.
