VIDEO: Dublin girl, 5, goes viral after explaining why she won't eat animals

An adorable five-year-old girl from Dublin has captured the hearts of people on Facebook in a tearful video which shows her telling her dad why she doesn't want to eat animals.

Little Indie-Rose, who is upset at there being turkey in her dinner, tells her dad that she doesn't like people eating animals and "I just don't want them to be chopped up".

Telling her dad that pigs, chickens and cows are nice, she then asks why people are chopping the animals up, before saying: “I don’t like that they chop animal-people up. Animals are very nice”.

Awwwww.

The reaction to the clip, which has been viewed a staggering 14 million times, has been really positive and her mother, Nicola is amazed at how popular it has become.

She commented beneath the footage, saying: "This is my daughter! X can't believe so many people have seen it. She is still a vegitaran hasn't had meat since! Fyi for some people she wasn't pushed into anything no one in my family is a vegitaran! The video was recorded after her dad trying so hard to explain and then recorded it to send to me while I was in work " saying help I don't know how to explain to her" she loves animals bugs insects I'm not allowed to even kill a fly in my house x x."
