We all know the 'Friends' theme tune, right?
'I'll Be There For You," by the Rembrandts. That kooky, clappy ode to the chaos of life in your 20s, and its daily litany of missed buses, crappy jobs, empty pockets and life as a singleton.
But its upbeat and everything is ok because you still have your buddies and you all get to wear evening dress and jump into a fountain when the sun goes down.
Well in this slowed-down and stripped-back version by three Irish lads - we're guessing UCD music students, but if anyone knows them we're open to correction - that missed bus becomes a metaphor for life slipping through your fingers; that crappy job is your lot for life; and that fountain serves only to wash away your tears of existential dread.
Or something.
(It's all slow and piano-ey, and we quite like it.
Take it away Glenn Murphy, Oisin O'Callaghan and Ronan Scolard.
