This hilarious Done Deal ad will make you want to buy this Laois-based camper van
Sometimes when you place an item for sale in the classifieds it can be hard to make it stand out, but this one from Laois shoots off the page.
Posting on the popular classifieds website DoneDeal.ie last night, the seller (known only as ‘The nest’) is hoping to offload a Mercedes Sprinter camper van.
Nothing new there, but the question was how to draw attention to his camper van over the other 504 (we checked) ads related to the search term ‘Mercedes Sprinter’? Well we think he found a brilliant way.
First of all, he added ‘absolute passion wag’ to the title of his ad - and if that wasn’t enough to sell you on purchasing it, the tongue-in-check description field is a gold mine.
The seller uses some classic lines like, “If your wife wasn't in this her mother probably was” and “gearbox sound but needs foreplay to get into reverse - however all lights are working” to market the van.
You must want to buy it now, right?
To be fair, it does seem like a bit of a banger though!
However, it’s nice to see a bit of imagination come into play and the ad has received nearly 5,000 views in just 12 hours.
You better hurray on if you want it, because we think it won’t be long before it’s snapped up at just €1,500.
