So you can only imagine the emotions swirling around the arrivals gate.

As well as happy homecomings, there was also romance in the air. Today FM reporter Juliette Gash teased the surprise on Twitter.

Ooooh what could it be?

Well, Irishman Martin Mulroe arrived at Dublin Airport this morning from Australia and the first thing he did was get down on one knee and surprise his long-term girlfriend Louise Mooney with a proposal.
