Arthur Fields was a Jewish Ukrainian in Dublin who became as much a part of the city as the bridge he stood on for 50 years - taking an estimated 182,500 photographs of Dubliners.
That's a lot of people who have one of his snaps tucked away. Now, those photos of the capital's people are being collected by the creators of a documentary on his life and work,
."So many people have an Arthur Fields photo buried away in their collection and the project aims to bring together as many of these cherished photos as possible under one umbrella," the film creators write.
"Ultimately, in a time where we are over-photographed, we want Man on Bridge to remind people how important the physical photo is as an object to value and hold on to for years."
They've also created a Flickr account where they're pulling together some of the photos of Dubliners across the decades for the public to browse.
The film is currently trying to get funding through the Arthur Guinness Projects, and is looking for people to cast a vote for them.
