Ireland, you're all right on a sunny day.
Darren Caffrey, a 21-year-old pilot, took his relatives for a private flight over our beautiful little country when the family was home for a wedding.
Luckily, he caught one the recent cloudless days - and the photos look almost like a tropical archipelago rather than the lakes of Cavan.
"To be honest, I think I'm starting to take the 3,000ft views for granted, but it always hits home when I have someone up with me," he wrote about a recent flight. "This is a new world."
Darren is very young to be a pilot - only 21 - and started flying at age 15. In fact, he had his pilot's licence before his driving licence, qualifying at 19.
So, while it's already a common experience for him, having passengers along for their first private flight is always a pleasure.
"Sometimes I look out and I'm glad to have someone remind me what a scenic view it is," Darren said.
At the moment he's only licensed as a private pilot – his flights only cover the cost of the aircraft and fuel.
"Personally, it's an achievement to be fully qualified [so young], and to take photos of what Ireland is really like," he said.
