How many people does it take to free a teenager stuck in a bench?

Quite a lot.

How many people does it take to free a teenager stuck in a bench?

A teenager called Ben got his finger caught in a bench and it took quite a crowd to eventually free him from his self-inflicted prison.

First up to aid the scene was the shopping centre security who tried to lubricate the finger Ben had pushed through the holes in the bench.

Unfortunately for Ben, these attempts were unsuccessful and also his friends had started to film his misadventure.

By the time the firemen arrived, Ben was looking pretty fed up with the whole thing, but unfortunately he would have to stick it out even longer as the firemen were unable to do anything besides scratch their heads and fold their arms.

Eventually Ben and his growing number of groupies decided to move the bench outside.

Outside the firemen used a metal cutter to cut around his fingers finally freeing him from the bench, but leaving a quantity of metal attached to his fingers.

The next step was to slowly cut the metal around his fingers and pry the metal back so Ben could wiggle his fingers free.

A lengthy process.

A lot of time and effort went into getting Ben’s finger free from the bench but the brazen youth seemed unperturbed by the attention, grinning cheekily at his friend filming the entire thing on his phone.

We hope he said thank you!
