Some people might argue that your best mate’s stag do is one of the best weekends of your life.
A weekend full of bromance, devilment and banter with some of your closest friends - well, that's what Robert Chernow believed.
The 28-year-old flew from New York to Chicago to celebrate his friend Jake getting married.
And as everyone else was coming from a different location, he waited patiently for them to arrive at the airport.
And yes you guessed it, they didn’t show up.
Turns out that Jake and the rest of his entourage's flights had been cancelled.
So, what did Jake do?
He threw his own stag party and hilariously uploaded the results to Instagram, using the hashtag #chicagoforone.
“Thanks@notjake_fromstatefarm for not coming to your bachelor party. Now I can pick any horse that I want,” he captioned one pic.
“Chicago is a beautiful city filled with beautiful people....I assume,” he said in another.
Although it wasn’t long before his adorable deadpan face captured the hearts of the Internet, the 28-year-old couldn't take anymore and resorted to Tinder in search of some friendly advice.
He even set up ‘gofundme’ account to keep the party going.
But all good parties have to come to an end at some point, so after snapping a few more forlorn pics at some of the city’s hotspots, the groom himself saved the day and joined his 'one man wolf-pack'.
