Dramatic footage shows bridge being swept away seconds after people had crossed it

A video uploaded to Liveleak shows the scary moment a bridge in Colombia collapsed just seconds after people had crossed it.

The short clip shows locals crossing the bridge over the River Tame in Arauca. Just seconds after they cross, a large crack becomes visible, the cameraman quickly steps back and the entire bridge collapses into the river and is swept away.

The area has been subjected to heavy rains in recent weeks causing rivers to swell. There have been no reports of casualties resulting from the bridge collapse.
