Could you be the next ’Keeper of the Blarney Stone’?

The most famous job in Ireland is vacant and if you feel you have the gift of the gab then you could be the next ’Keeper of the Blarney Stone’.

Blarney Castle and Gardens is looking for someone charismatic and enthusiastic to take on the role and hold people as they kiss the world famous Blarney Stone.

Denis Cronin is set to retire from the role after 13 years of holding thousands of visitors each day as they hope to gain the gift of the gab.

The person to take on the job must be friendly and have a good sense of humour - not to mention strong arms - as they greet people from all over the world.

It will be up to them to ensure that each person to visit the stone has a memorable experience.

If you think you are up to the challenge, then you can email your CV to socialmedia@blarneycastle.ie
