We don't know why, but this odd little clip is strangely beautiful.
Japanese flautist Yukie Ota was performing at a competion in Denmark yesterday - the 5th Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition, to be precise - when a random and rather large butterfly landed on her face.
She stays remarkably composed, as the insect takes a breather from its busy schedule of nectar-supping to gently flap its wings in time to Sancan's Sonatine for flute and piano*.
It's not known if Ota gets extra points for being, well, unflappable (sorry).
*Yes, we had to look that up.
