A Communion card that speaks a million truths
Your Holy Communion. A glorious day for some little boys and girls in Ireland.
However, M&S have caught on to the ‘true meaning’ of religion according to one Twitter user.
The reason that some little mites are looking forward to their day at the church so much.
The cards. More importantly, what is nestled snugly inside it.
While parents discuss how much they got at their own communion and then describe the amount given these days as ‘shocking’, putting money in the card remains a social norm.
The 'money wallet' is suggestive, but perhaps this is a chance for us to look at ourselves and our own behaviour at a Holy Communion.
