Property advisor Hamilton Osborne King has been acquired by international property consultancy Savills for €50m.
The acquisition is of the Hamilton Osborne King group operating within the Republic of Ireland.
For the year ended September 30, 2005, Hamilton Osborne King reported a turnover of €35.7m and pre-tax profit of €7.8m, before charging non-recurring remuneration in the year of €4.7m.
As at September 30, 2005, the company had gross assets of €22.1m. Hamilton Osborne King is the largest firm of commercial property advisors in Ireland with 250 staff based in offices in Dublin, Cork, and an associated office in Limerick.
Savills has a network of offices and associates in the UK, mainland Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific and Africa. It employs more than 15,000 staff based across 125 offices in 22 countries.
