Irish meat will be promoted to an estimated 200,000 people over the next five days at a leading food trade fair in France.
International meat buyers, decision makers and 19,000 chefs from about 140 countries will attend the event in Lyon.
Bord Bia and six Irish meat firms will be promoting our beef and lamb.
Michael Walsh of Bord Bia said the Sirha 2015 event was very important.
"This gives us access to international buyers. 13% of those visiting will be from outside the EU, so it opens the door to another market to us," he said.
