Government representatives meet IAG for further talks on Aer Lingus bid
There has been a further meeting today on the proposed takeover of Aer Lingus.
Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe's confirmed that the Government's Inter Departmental Steering Group met this morning with representatives of the International Airlines Group, which has expressed an interest in buying the former national flag carrier.
The Minister said that further clarification of IAG's proposals were discussed, and another meeting is expected to be scheduled.
