Central Bank warns debt management firm to halt payment services
Money Village has been told by the Central Bank to stop providing its payment services.
It said the debt management company has not been operating this aspect of their business with the required authorisation.
Customers are being advised to stop all payments to Money Village.
They are being urged to call lenders to make sure payments have gone through on their behalf, and to make alternative arrangements for the future.
However, the Central Bank is moving to reassure customers, saying there is no immediate danger to funds.
