Thrill-seekers have set a new world record for the number of people in a pair of pants.

Thrill-seekers have set a new world record for the number of people in a pair of pants.

The Dr Pepper underwear was filled with 169 people at Thorpe Park in Surrey and they smashed the previous record of 57 set in 2011.

Record breakers all piled into a pair of nine-metre wide Y-fronts as official representatives looked on to verify the fear was an official record.

Chris Rooker, one of the new record breakers, said: “I never dreamed that I would be helping to set a new Guinness World Record today.

"Now I feel like a gold medal winner, I’m wearing my pants with pride, and can’t wait to tell everyone about it!”
