Two people have been killed after an Afghan driver tried to ram a Nato patrol in southern Afghanistan.
The car ended up in a ditch after troops opened fire on the vehicle. A passenger and a passer-by died when the car flipped over.
British Army Major Tim James, a spokesman for the alliance, said three Nato soldiers were also injured in today’s attack in Kandahar province.
He described the attack as deliberate.
Maj James said four other civilians were also injured. He said the driver was also hurt and taken to a hospital.
