Police in Norway say an abandoned suitcase which sparked a security alert in Oslo's central train station did not pose a safety threat.

The station was evacuated earlier after the case was found on a bus.

It's been removed and examined, and police say nothing of interest was found.

Authorities also say that as far as they know, there's no connection with last Friday's bombing and shooting which saw 76 people lose their lives.
