A three-year-old boy missing for three weeks from his family farm in South Africa has been found alive.

A man working on a neighbouring farm in the Free State found Michael Raadt drinking from a dam.

His family in the Luckhoff district of the southern Free State thought he was dead. He was wearing just a T-shirt when he was found.

He disappeared with his three-year-old cousin Thabiso Paint on December 10. Rescuers found Thabiso alive on December 12, News 24 reports.

But Thabiso was unable say what had happened to them or where his cousin was.

Both boys are being treated in the Pelonomi hospital in Bloemfontein.
