The family of a nurse - who apparently died by suicide after a royal hoax call - is to receive more than £300,000 from a memorial fund.

Jacintha Saldanha's brother said that she would have been devastated she put through a prank at the hospital where the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was being treated.

The Australian radio station 2Day FM, whose presenters were behind the call, generated the cash from advertising profits.
