Plastic surgery game app aimed at children removed

iTunes and Google Play appear to have withdrawn a plastic surgery app aimed at children from its store.

The app targetted users aged 9+.

It allowed them to make incisions and perform plastic surgery and suck out the extra fat from an overweight cartoon girl.

The app was removed from both platforms following a social media campaign protesting against it, claiming it encouraged negative body image among young girls.
