Five people were on a tour helicopter that crashed this morning in Pearl Harbor.
A YouTube video shows the helicopter approaching the shoreline and then crashing a few yards offshore.
It has been suggested that the helicopter belongs to the company Genesis Aviation.
Genesis Aviation is known to run helicopter tours in the area.
The helicopter that crashed is a 1979 Bell 206B helicopter, known as a Jet Ranger.
It can carry four passengers and a pilot.
Authorities in Hawaii say one person is in a critical condition after a helicopter carrying 5 people crashed into the Pacific Ocean.
A Navy spokesman says all of the passengers were recovered from the water.
Tours to the nearby Pearl Harbor Memorial have been cancelled while an investigation is carried out.
