Lidl has withdrawn two ready meals suspected of containing horsemeat from its stores in Finland and Sweden.

Lidl has withdrawn two ready meals suspected of containing horsemeat from its stores in Finland and Sweden.

The discount retailer said it was removing its canned beef goulash and tortellini bolognese "as a precaution".

This is the first time the horsemeat scandal has manifested in Finland and Sweden.
