Boy, three, dies in fall from flats

A three-year-old boy has died after falling from a window at a block of flats.

A three-year-old boy has died after falling from a window at a block of flats.

Emergency services were called to Denhead Crescent in Dundee at around 2.30pm today.

The boy sustained a serious head injury and was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in the city where he died a short time later, Tayside Police said.

It is understood he fell from the second floor of the building.

A force spokesman said: “Tayside Police were called to Dundee’s Denhead Crescent shortly after 2.30pm today where a three-year-old boy was found to have sustained a serious head injury. He was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital where he sadly died.

“Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident.”
