Back pay approved for US government shutdown workers
US politicians have decided to give back-pay to the 800,000 workers on unpaid leave due to the government shutdown.
The House of Representatives voted unanimously to pay them once the stalemate is over.
The American government closed non-essential operations on Tuesday after Congress failed to agree a new budget.
