Torres starts; Luiz and Romeu come back for Blues

Rafael Benitez recalled David Luiz and Oriol Romeu as Chelsea looked to avoid Champions League humiliation in tonight’s final Group E game against Nordsjaelland.

Luiz returned from suspension and Romeu replaced John Obi Mikel for a match the Blues needed to win – as well as hoping Shakhtar Donetsk beat Juventus – to avoid becoming the first holders to crash out of the competition before Christmas.

Nordsjaelland recalled Patrick Mtiliga and Kasper Lorentzen as they aimed to deliver the knockout blow to opponents who thrashed them 4-0 before Chelsea’s season began to unravel so spectacularly.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Cole, Romeu, Ramires, Hazard, Mata, Moses, Torres.
