The Harp Bar on Boulevard de Clichy is a focal point for much of the revelry - as this local man found out last night.

He stepped out onto his balcony overlooking the street outside the pub - and found himself the centre of attention.

The crowd of Irish fans below whooped and cheered his every move - and booed loudly when he went back indoors.

Eager to please his new fans, the man soon returned to salute the crowd and cause another wave of cheers.

Looks like the craic is mighty there!
