Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is waiting on word regarding the fitness of centre-half Ledley King and goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes ahead of their crucial Premier League clash against Manchester City at Eastlands tomorrow night.
King’s long-standing knee problem means he remains a doubt while Gomes has a muscle injury sustained in the win over Bolton at White Hart Lane last weekend.
They are the only worries for the Spurs boss as they take on City in the battle for a Champions League place. Young goalkeeper Ben Alnwick stands by to replace Gomes.
Provisional squad: Gomes, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto, Bale, Kaboul, Huddlestone, Bentley, Lennon, Modric, Pavlyuchenko Gudjohnsen, Defoe, Crouch, Jenas, Alnwick, Palacios, Bassong, Walker, Rose, Livermore.
