Two minutes later, Roberto Lopes headed home Jack Byrne's corner which was followed by Lee Grace scoring from another Byrne corner to make it 3-0.

It was only three minutes after the restart when Jack Byrne collected the ball at the back-post and fired home.

Graham Burke scored ten minutes later as he slid the ball home after a fantastic run down the left from Neil Farrugia.

In the 67th minute, Waterford scored their first when Michael O'Connor came up with a great turn and finish to score a consolation for the away side.
