Scholes has car stolen from driveway

Manchester United's Paul Scholes has had his car stolen from his driveway while he was defrosting his windscreen.

The midfielder left the engine running to melt the ice on his 4-by-4 in Oldham - and popped back inside his house while it warmed up.

When he returned, the car had gone.

Police in Greater Manchester are urging drivers not to leave cars running and unattended.
