Reports this morning indicate Roy Keane has had previous involvement with the man at the centre of the altercation in Portmarnock Hotel yesterday afternoon.

The Irish Independent report that it began when a man, who has previously written about Keane, approached the Corkman in the hotel and asked him to sign a copy of his recent biography.
Keane refused the request and the man began tearing pages from the book and throwing them at him.
In the confrontation the man fell to the ground and an ambulance was called, although it is unclear if anyone actually attended hospital.
The FAI said in their statement: “We wish to clarify that Roy Keane called the Gardai following the incident.”
It is understood that the FAI are completely satisfied that there was no punch thrown during the incident.
Gardaí have said they are “investigating the incident”, but have also said that no official complaint had been made by anyone in relation to events at the hotel.
The FAI have this morning released a video of Martin O'Neill, where the Ireland manager also confirms his full support for Keane.
