Stilian Petrov’s fifth-minute goal gave Celtic a 1-0 win over Hibernian in their Bank of Scotland Premier League clash at Easter Road.
The Bulgarian latched on to Shunsuke Nakamura’s pass and coolly slotted his angled shot from 16 yards past Hibs keeper Zbigniew Malkowski.
The home side fought back admirably from their early setback but could not prevent the Parkhead men cutting Hearts’ lead at the top of the table back to five points.
