Bolton misfit El-Hadji Diouf has revealed Sam Allardyce is his role model alongside former Senegal coach Bruno Metsu.
The 23-year-old striker is a big fan of the Trotters boss despite being told he is on a final warning at the Reebok Stadium regarding his behaviour.
Allardyce was outraged with Diouf after he had a three-match ban imposed for spitting at Portsmouth’s Arjan De Zeeuw.
The on-loan Liverpool player revealed he is grateful for the support he receives at his new club – and the riches the game brings.
“I want only to pile up a lot of money to benefit my family,” he said. “Afterwards, why not a career as a trainer?
“When I think of it, I want to be a cool coach, a little like Sam Allardyce or Bruno Metsu. For me, they are two role models.”
