Another one of Preston's Irish recruits set for loan spell

Republic of Ireland defender Andy Boyle is set to join Doncaster Rovers on loan.

The former Dundalk centre-half has found game time limited under Alex Neil at Preston North End this season.

He would follow fellow League of Ireland recruit Kevin O'Connor in going out on loan, after the ex-Cork City player moved to Fleetwood Town until the end of the season.

Doncaster currently sit 14th in League One.
