Tomas O’Leary signs for Montpellier and could face Leinster this weekend

Munster scrum half Tomás O'Leary has signed for Montpellier on a temporary basis as a ‘medical joker’.

He is providing cover due to injuries. The Top 14 side needed a replacement for Benoit Paillaugue, who has been ruled out for four months.

As a result, the 32-year-old is available for Sunday’s Champions cup clash with Leinster.

O'Leary re-joined Munster last year after three seasons at London Irish but has struggled with injuries and was not included in the side’s European squad.
