Ringrose out but Henderson and Beirne back in Ireland squad to face Italy

Second-rows Iain Henderson and Tadhg Beirne have both been included in Ireland's squad to face Italy on Sunday, Irish Rugby has announced.

The pair had been included in original Six Nations squad but injuries forced both players to miss the opening rounds against England and Scotland.

Henderson could potentially miss the Italy game after being cited on his return from injury with Ulster.

He will face a disciplinary hearing today.

Leinster pair Garry Ringrose and Rhys Ruddock will miss the trip to Rome, with both players suffering from hamstring injuries.

They are set to remain with their province this week.

Ulster's Will Addison will also miss out with lower back stiffness and he is being managed by his province.

However, Munster's Chris Farrell was passed fit to train and has been included in the squad after being reviewed by the Ireland medical team.
