The 28-year-old is Irish qualified and has been included in the PRO12 champions' squad for their upcoming European Champions Cup campaign.

Second-row Andrew Browne suffered a thigh injury in training last week and is awaiting to learn the extent of the injury while centre Eoin Griffin picked-up a minor hamstring injury during last Saturday's loss to the Scarlets.

However, Danie Poolman and Peter Robb have both been cleared to resume full training this week.
