Munster head coach Rob Penney has made 12 changes to the starting XV that took on Leinster, for tomorrow night’s RaboDirect PRO12 meeting with Dragons at Rodney Parade (7pm)
With little left to play for in the PRO12, the changes come as no real surprise, as Penney looks to preserve some of his big names ahead of next weekend’s Heineken Cup semi-final against Clermont Auvergne.
Denis Hurley, Ian Keatley and Damien Varley are the only players to be retained from last weekend’s derby defeat to Leinster.
They are included in a side comprised mostly of players who featured in the British & Irish Cup win over Cornish Pirates a fortnight ago.
Academy player Ronan O'Mahony will make his RaboDirect PRO12 debut tomorrow night while his academy colleague Cian Bohane named in the replacements is also in line for his first Munster senior cap.
O’Mahony in named on the wing with Johne Murphy on the opposite flank and Hurley named at fullback.
JJ Hanrahan partners Ivan Dineen at centre with Cathal Sheridan linking up with Keatley at half-back to complete the backline.
Stephen Archer and Wian du Preez will accompany Varley in the front row with Dave Foley and Billy Holland behind them in the engine room.
Dave O’Callaghan, Niall Ronan and Paddy Butler make up the back row.
Marcus Horan, Munster's most capped forward, is included on the bench.
