Plumpton have cancelled their planned 8am inspection and racing goes ahead this afternoon.
Clerk of the course Mark Cornford felt it prudent to call an early-morning check in light of a cold overnight forecast and the possibility of snow.
However, the track is raceable this morning and the meeting will go ahead as planned without the need for an inspection.
The ground is reported to be soft.
This afternoon’s meeting at Wolverhampton will have to pass a precautionary inspection at 8am if it is to go ahead.
The track is reported to be unraceable due to overnight snow and ground staff are currently working the all-weather surface.
However, officials remain confident of racing going ahead with temperatures due to rise to 3C today.
