Nemo Rangers powered their way to a third successive All-Ireland Club Football final with a four-point win over Errigal Ciaran at Portlaoise.

The Cork and Munster champions were always in command, and with Kevin Cahill and Derek Kavanagh forming a formidable midfield partnership, took the game confidently to the Ulster side.

Colin Corkery was again a key figure for Nemo, kicking five points, four of them from frees, as his side set up a St Patrick's Day meeting with Crossmolina.

Nemo, despite playing intoi the breeze, ranced into a 1-3 to 0-1 lead inside the opening 20 minutes.

With half backs Gary Murphy and Martin Cronin pushing forward at every opportunity, they put their opponents under severe pressure, and early points from William Morgan and Corkery settle the Munster champions.

Steven O'Brien sent Alan Cronin in for an 18th minute goal, and the Tyrone men were in real trouble, particularly after Corker converted another free to open up a five points gap.

Errigal did stage a revival, and three Mark Harte frees and points from Peter Canavan and Dara Tierney had them back in contention.

But two Corker frees restored Nemo's dominance, and they turned around leading by 1-5 to 0-5.

Despite a brief Errigal revival, Nemo soon regained control, and Stephen O'Brien, Cahill, Derrek Kavanagh, Joe Kavanagh and Corker all scored to open up a seven-point led with 10 minutes to play.

Errigal Ciaran staged a brave fightback, with Peter Loughran and Peter Canavan each hitting two points to leave just a goal between the sides.

But it was Corkery who sent Derek Kavanagh through for the insurance point in injury time.
