Neil Manchip fired a closing three-under-par 68 at Greenore to win the Killester Travel PGA Challenge Trophy tournament - his second major win of the season.
Manchip carded a closing three-under-par 68 for an seven-under total of 135 and a three shots lead over Leslie Walker with hat-trick chasing David Walker, the winner for the past two years, in joint third spot on 139 along with Kevin Morris.
Manchip chipped and putted for birdied four at the second hole but gave the shot back when he went over the green at the short sixth.
He then carded back-to-back birdies at the eighth and ninth holes rolling in six-footers each time.
At the long 11th hole, the Royal Dublin assistant got down from 15 feet after a wedge to the surface but again was too fat at 13 to make bogey five.
That shot was, however, recovered with a chip and putt for birdie four at 17 as he steered a four iron just short.
"I won the Club Professionals' Championship at Nuremore in May and this prize helps to boost my fund for my forthcoming wedding," said the Edinburgh-born Neil.
