Green light for Navan

This afternoon’s meeting at Navan will go ahead as scheduled after the course passed a morning inspection.

Frost had been the worry for groundstaff and an 8am inspection had been called.

However, before that hour was reached officials were confident enough to give the meeting the green light.

An informative card is in the offing with Jessica Harrington’s Oscars Well and Jenari clashing in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Chase and Cheltenham Bumper fourth Moscow Mannon making his hurdling debut earlier on the card.

The ground remains heavy.
