Two first half goals from the twin strike force of Ronan Coffey and Tommy Gill looked to set Wicklow up a first round victory over Carlow.

A Stephen O'Brien 46 minute goal transformed the whole game bringing Carlow into contention.

Two points from Jonny Kavanagh brought the side level, 1-7 2-4 after 61 minutes.

One minute later Mark Carpenter put Carlow in front for the first time.

Wicklow had to wait to the 64 minute for until the could pull back to level the score.

Carlow and Wicklow will now meet nexr week for the replay.
