Erin announces U-21 hurling sponsorship deal
The All-Ireland U-21 hurling championship has been given a major boost with the announcement that Erin are to come aboard as sponsors until 2006.
The competition will be given the new title of the Erin Under-21 Hurling Championship.
John Rooney, Marketing Director for Campbell’s Soup Ireland, owners of Erin Foods, said: “Erin are very pleased to begin what we hope will be a very productive and fruitful relationship with the GAA.
The all-Ireland U-21 championship was launched in 1964 and was designed to act as a bridge between minor and senior level.
