Clive Cox has ruled both Miracle Seeker and Don’t Forget Faith out of the Darley Irish Oaks.

Clive Cox has ruled both Miracle Seeker and Don’t Forget Faith out of the Darley Irish Oaks.

The Lambourn trainer has other plans for the two fillies who hold entries in the Curragh Classic on July 13.

“Neither will run in the Irish Oaks,” said the Lambourn-based handler.

“Miracle Seeker ran a brave race in a Group Two on Sunday (fourth at Saint-Cloud) and we’ll see how she is. There’s a mile-and-a-half Group Three at Cork that closes tomorrow we’ll consider.

“Don’t Forget Faith has had a bit of a break after her last run in France. She is a filly that prefers a little bit of ease underfoot and therefore we will be looking to the autumn to campaign her.”
