British boxer Anthony Joshua says he was being deliberately patient in his heavyweight world-title defence against Carlos Takam.
He retained the WBA and IBF belts with a 10th-round stoppage in Cardiff.
The fight ended when the referee intervened - a decision both fighters have criticised.
Joshua says he's confident he'd have knocked Takam out.
He said: "He was hurt a few times in that fight but I didn’t want to go steaming in.
" I didn't want to look for the knockout, I wanted it to come naturally because sometimes that can lead to my downfall if I'm not careful ."
